Welcome James Eugene Gunn

On Friday, December 16, 2011, James Eugene Gunn was born to Tom and Amy!! He weighed 8lbs., 2 oz., and was 20.5 inches long. His delivery was long and hard.  He is a beautiful baby. I couldn't believe he could look so good an hour after his birth. No cone head, no squishy face, no bruises. . . just a well developed body and face, curly dark hair, and a sweet mouth!  You can see he's absolutely darling.

He looks like Tom and Amy.  He reminds me of his daddy when he was a newborn. James is a big boy and he has an appetite to match.  He's going to keep his parents pretty busy just keeping him fed!

What a miracle. Amy didn't think she would ever have a baby. They've waited 7 years for James. His name was a secret until I saw him.  He is named after my dad, Eugene Gunn Fawcett.  Tom had changed his last name to Gunn at the time Merrill and I were divorced.  My Dad is a wonderful man and James has something to live up to in the way of integrity, faithfulness, and dedication to his family and the Gospel.
